My name is Connie Gaffaney.

I have always been interested in diet as a path to good health.   I moved from SAD (the Standard American Diet), to being a Vegetarian over 25 years ago, to a Vegan and for the past 12 years a Raw Food Vegan.

Besides receiving Certifications in Herbology and Essential Oils, I have attended workshops with Chicago based Raw Food Chefs:  Karen Calabrese of Karyn’s Raw Cafe;  Kathy and Danny Living of Borrowed Earth Cafe; On-line studies with Nomi Shannon, the Raw Gourmet;  Jennifer Cornbleet; Cherie Soria;  and David Wolfe.

I have my Certification in the Vegan Mastery Program through the Vegetarian Health Institute.

I have  been practicing Yoga for over 25 years.  The more I practiced the more I  wanted to know, which led to attaining Certification in Hatha Yoga.

My  love of Yoga Philosophy led me to become Certified in Meditation; as well as earning a Third Degree Reiki Master certified by the Usui Shiki Ryoho School of Reiki.  I have always engaged in continuing education, including Mat Pilates and Thai Massage.
